The league follows a set of rules for the running of the league this includes team and venue rulings and is referred to as "League Rules". The league also follows a set of 8 Ball pool rules for how a game is played these are reffered to as "Playing Rules". These playing rules should be read with reference to teh definitions which explains the termenology used within the playing rules.

There are also fun games that can be played such as killer pool which is a multi-player knockout game. Golf pool which is a mix of golf rules on a pool format play a font 9, back 9 or a full 18 holes. Finally there is Cowboy pool which is a game with a difference, you can actually score points by pocketing the cue ball.
