| The league came to an agreement with a company over the terms of a sponsorship. This company was Lupain Properties and they where also the sixth team at this time they also allocated themselves a team name of Lupain Properties. |

Due to the sponsor the league was able to set up a website including up-to-date results, ruling and other information about the league. |

05-02-2008 First Island Connections Tournament |
| The league agreed terms with a local newspaper Island Connections, to publish the leagues results in each addition. |
|
The league run its first annual Island Connections sponsored tournament which was held at the North & South. This was a good night, with each team in the league fielding several players to make th 16 player tournament. The Trap Door had a good night dominating the final, which was eventual won by Mark. |

| The second season gets underway with 8 new teams join the league making the number of teams 13 for the new season. The point stucture was changed in agreement to the teams for the previous system. The new ruling awards 3 points for a win and 1 for a draw. |

A late entry was submitted to the league and in light of the fact that the league has an odd number of 13 the league accepted The Swan in Adeje as the final team for the current season. |
