Killer Rules

1 GENERAL

1. Each player receives three lives. 2. A randomly ordered list of plays determines the playing order, and each player is assigned three tally marks next to their name representing their lives. 3. A player keeps his/her lives if they are able to complete a legal pot on his/her turn. If they do not, they lose one life and a tally mark is wiped from the list. 4. The object of the game is to be the last player with lives remaining at the end of the game.

 2 PLAYING THE GAME

1. Each player is assigned a playing order from a list. (As in rule 2 above).

2. This list and scoring is managed by a designated player or the first player on the list.

3. The player to break is determined by the first name on the list and the playing order is set by the list (ie the player whose name is next in the list).

4. Play continues by order of the list.

5. Play continues until one ball is left, the game shall be recommenced and the balls are re-racked (see break-off).

3 BREAK-OFF

1. The first player to play (or the next player to play at recommence of game) as determined by the list breaks.

2. The balls are racked with the black ball in the centre.

3. The player breaks from baulk

4. If the player performs a legal pot, play continues on to the next player.

5. If the player pots the black ball a life is rewarded to that player and an extra tally mark is assigned on the list. (As in rule 5 below)

6. If the white goes in-off the break shot, he/she immediately loses a life.

7. If the player fails to pot and the white remains on the table, he/she is entitled to one more shot.

4 GENERAL RULES OF PLAY

1. The next player is always determined by the next player on the list.

2. If nothing is potted, or if the white goes down or leaves the table, then the player loses a life (except on break shots where the player is entitled to one more shot). A tally mark is wiped off of the list next to the player's name. Thus at any time the number of tally marks left next to the players name should be the same as the number of lives left.

3. Whenever the white is potted or leaves the table, the next player must play from baulk

4. When one ball is left, the balls are re-racked and the next player on the list determines who breaks.

5. If the black ball is potted the player is awarded an extra bonus life and a tally mark is assigned to the list of the player.

5 NOTES

Only potting shots that are played as legal in Pub Pool Rules are acceptable - with 3 additions:

1. If a ball falls in without being hit the player in control either benefits from this, or in the case of the cue ball, loses a life.

2. The break off shot is as described above.

3. Control of the table passes onto the next player on the list.
